Aisana is a bold logo concept built around a stylized flame, using negative space to introduce a second visual layer inspired by the recognizable forms of the Drupal identity. The outer cyan-to-purple shape clearly reads as fire, with sharp flowing tips giving the mark energy and upward movement, while the dark inner cutout creates a more subtle droplet Drupal reference. This combination makes the symbol feel both organic and digital at the same time. The smooth gradient adds depth without making the construction overly complex, while the rounded custom wordmark keeps the identity approachable. The logo was created for a web developer who wanted a visual connection to Drupal without simply reproducing its mark.

Its rounded branches and connected nodes can be read as multiple computers linked together into one distributed computing network, while the overall silhouette also resembles a virus or microscopic organism. That connection is intentional: the Hardware.no community contributed unused computer processing power to distributed research projects related to diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s and various forms of cancer. Glossy highlights, soft 3D shading and irregular bubble-like forms give the icon a biological character instead of a typical rigid tech appearance.
